5.1. As part of the investment Construction of a retention cistern in the area of the ruins of the castle in Lanckorona, the following will be performed: Construction works consisting of: preliminary cleaning of the area, spraying greenery growing on the fence, dismantling the fence, excavations for the construction of the cistern, boarding of the entire walls of the excavation, Construction of the cistern with a capacity of approximately 160 m3, Waterproofing and securing the area, Construction of a walking path. To enable natural filtration and infiltration of water, the bottom of the cistern will consist of several layers with different permeability: Vegetable (biofiltration) layer, e.g. hydrophytic grasses, moss or supporting microorganisms filtration Filter layer: sand, gravel of various fractions, which will help purify the water and allow it to gradually soak in. Retention layer - humus or clay soil, capable of storing moisture. The drainage layer included larger stones and gravel, which would help slow down the runoff and disperse the water.
