CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR THE TASK: "RECONSTRUCTION OF DW 408 ON THE SECTION FROM GLIWICE TO THE PROVINCE BORDER, STAGE II RECONSTRUCTION OF DW 408 FROM THE SOŚNICOWICE BYPASS TO THE VOIVODESHIP BORDER: STAGE II. 1. FROM KM 20+693 TO KM 26+019; STAGE II. 2 FROM KM 26+019 TO KM 26+800."
The scope of the planned project will include:
• reconstruction of the main road in order to obtain the technical load capacity parameter as for road o parameters of technical class G, length approx. 6.00 km,
• unification of the width of the road (approx. 7 m), shoulders (min. 1.25 m), reconstruction of the existing surface structure, adapting it to the current design and technical guidelines of the Provincial Roads Authority in Katowice, allowing for pressure per single axle 11.5 tons,
•maintaining the existing geometric parameters of the existing runway for aircraft and obtaining a single axle load of 115 kN,
• complete replacement of the road structure,
• strengthening the ground beneath the surface,
• correction of the geometry of intersections and others roadway equipment elements,
• construction of pedestrian routes (existing and extensions within the development boundaries),
•reconstruction of existing exits,
• road safety devices,
• reconstruction and construction of bus bays,
• reconstruction and construction of existing and newly designed street lighting, including power supply,
•construction of environmental protection devices,
• relocation of historic and religious buildings that may interfere with the route of the reconstructed road,
