Conducting measurements from two nerve cells simultaneously and must be able to integrate laser light for stimulation of nerve cells in experiments requiring use of optogenic techniques. The electrophysiological kit must consist of a microscope having an optics of interference and differential contrast in infrared (IR-DIC), amplifiers, temperature control apparatus, a micropipet winch, a peristaltic pump, TTL signal stimulator and an anti-vibration table. All listed elements must be a cooperative system, have computer software to control them and hereinafter referred to as a set.
