Ladies and Gentlemen, Acting on behalf of the President of the Management Board of Spółka AkcyjnaODLEWNIE POLSKIE, I hereby invite you to submit offers for the purchase of gray cast iron scrap for our Company. The proceedings concern gray cast iron scrap. Scrap metal must not contain hazardous, explosive, radioactive and suspected materials, SCRAP PROTECTED AGAINST MOISTURE, ICE AND SNOW. Largest dimensions 400x400x300 mm, thickness not less than 1 mm, free of non-ferrous metals, tar, rubber, varnishes and plastics artificial. Mn content max. 1.50% (max 1.80); Si max.0.4% (max0.48); Cr max.0.4% (max. 0.48); Ni max. 0.3 (max 0.36), Cu max. 0.3 (max 0.36). The average value of the chemical composition obtained from the analyzes of 9 different samples must be within the range specified above. It is permissible to exceed the value by up to 20% for a maximum of 2 out of 9 samples. Any exceedance by more than 20% (even for 1 out of 9 samples) will disqualify the delivery. In case of non-compliance, return the car to the Supplier. Non-metallic impurities max. 1.5%, maximum allowable degree of corrosion II. We kindly ask you to take a rational approach to the offered material and the certainty of its composition, because each laboratory check and weighing of the material is additional work of our employees.
