- 1) The subject of the order is the modernization of the Rumia-Reda border ditch, replacing the ditch with a bed made of L-type elements on the section from ul. Grunwaldzka to ul. Kosynierw in Rumia.2) The investment aims to change the open drainage ditch L3-14 into an open riverbed made of L-type concrete elements from the inlet at the street Grunwaldzka to the inlet to the culvert under Kosynierw Street in Rumia with a two-chamber sand trap at the outlet of the river bed to the existing ditch under Kosynierw Street and cleaning works consisting in cutting down colliding low vegetation. The rebuilt section of the ditch will have an increased retention volume and capacity will be to allow for significantly increased vegetation coverage, which will translate into the purification of waters flowing through it and also increase its retention. This will result in an extension of the time and path of water circulation in the environment of the given catchment area, which will directly translate into an improvement in its water balance. The project is intended to aiming to create an effective rainwater management system in the Rumia Municipality.
