- The purpose of the task "Monitoring of bottom sediments of rivers and lakes in 2023-2024" is to update the knowledge about the chemical status of bottom sediments of rivers and lakes, necessary for water management in river basins, in particular to protect waters against pollution resulting frommalevolent. The project is focused mainly on the control of concentrations of heavy metals and persistent organic pollutants, including priority substances in the field of water policy, monitored in order to determine trends in changes in concentrations of pollutants accumulating in bottom sediments.c Title: Environmental monitoring other than for construction
