- Preliminary description of the task: Construction of an earth damming device with a discharge device located on a watercourse. Earth damming structure, 435 m long, damming height 0.50 m. A building used to retain surface and groundwater in swampy areas. Construction site is under the administration of the Strzelce Forest District and is developed for forest management purposes. Local impact on adjacent forest areas resulting from afforestation of weak soils. The area for construction has little production and natural value. A few kilometers away the ditch flows through Natura2000 areas. Catchment area: The ditch belongs to the left-bank tributaries of the border river Bug, it flows into the oxbow lake near the town of UchaΕka. Catchment area approximately 10 km2. Area of ββthe retention area: 6 ha, planned capacity of facilities/volume of retained water: 18,000 m3.
