- Renovation of the surface of district road No. 2162P on the section of ul. Wrzesiska in Witków is related to the existing, very poor condition of the bituminous surface. Currently, the road has a lot of damage caused by many years of use, especially by vehicles trucks and agricultural machinery. At the time of construction, this road was not intended for such heavy vehicle traffic as it is today. This is especially visible along the edge of the road and in places where vehicle wheels are usually located. Too weak substructure, causes the formation of mesh joints. Weather conditions also led to surface degradation. The optimal solution to this situation is to make additional bituminous layers from a mineral-asphalt mixture intended for the category KR2 movement. Due to its current profile, the surface will consist of two bituminous layers. One is a leveling layer of AC11W asphalt concrete for KR2 in the amount of 75 kg/m, and the final layer will be a wearing course of AC11S asphalt concrete for KR2 4 cm thick.
