Description: The subject of the order is a service consisting in the replacement of OPC pumps set aside blocks 1 and 2 with two composed aggregates with lower power to supply the cooling water of compressors and supplementing the refrigeration circuit of blocks of 5 ÷ 8 blocks for PGE GIEK S.A. Rybnik Power Plant branch.
The purpose of the task is to provide additional water for the needs of the 2nd stage of the power plant (blocks 5-8). The capacity of OPC pumps in the late 90s as a result of their modernization was increased to 34,000 m3/h. OPC pumps provide, among others, water to the second stage of the power plant for cooling auxiliary devices, supplementing the losses formed in a closed cooling system of blocks of 5-8 and for the needs of cooling compressors. Currently, blocks 1-2 have been excluded from operation and the 3-4 blocks are in derogation.
